FLOWER OF MY HEART: THE AWAKENING BLESSING

Flower of my heart, open your lotus petals to me.

I will sing to you a new song: It is a song of remembering.
It is a song of love. It is a song of strength.

Your time of awakening is at hand. Rejoice and be not afraid.
For the glory of the Lord of Light is upon you
And you shall go forth in splendor, and you shall go forth in strength.

Dive deep into the ocean of love light and swim in the beauty of holiness.
From the depths of love, give the essence of your flowering
To all you meet.

Grace and blessings are yours for I am with you always.

I received this message during a healing meditation in July 1997 and I finally feel that I have awakened enough to bring the message to the world. I have written a book entitled Flower of My Heart: The Awakening Blessing. The Awakening Blessing can be understood as a meditation and a communication. As a meditation, we open ourselves to the Indwelling Presence and realize that we are not only our egoic identities, but we are also flower of the heart of the Divine. We are encouraged to accept and to act from this realization in the world. As a communication, readers who have a Christian perspective can explore the blessing as God's response to The Lord's Prayer. Readers who have a Jewish perspective can explore the blessing in relationship to the Shema, while readers who do not have a religious perspective can think of the speaker of the blessing as the transcendent Source of All.

I have attended three healing schools in the past twelve years, and am presently practicing as a certified Integrated Kabbalistic Healer. I have found that praying and meditating on The Awakening Blessing has been a great help in softening the hardness of my heart toward myself and others. I believe that The Awakening Blessing is a gift to help us heal ourselves and become healing presences in the world. It invites us to open our hearts- to ourselves, to the Divine, to other people, to all of Creation. It takes dedication and courage to engage in this process, but the end result is that we can heal ourselves and become healing presences in the world. I invite you to explore The Awakening Blessing with me as you are drawn to do so. I believe that the gifts inherent in our engagement with the blessing are needed for the world right now.
